Sebastian Turzack Castella is a French bullfighter known professionally in the bullfighting world as Castella. He has a Spanish father and a Polish mother. The Frenchman is one of the icons of modern bullfighting.
Date of birth: January 31, 1983 in Béziers, a city in the south of France.
Public debut: Sebastián debuted with the public in a bullfight in the Aigan bullring on March 30, 1997, at only 14 years of age.
Debut as a bullfighter: he debuts as a bullfighter in the capital of Spain, on April 30, 2000. That afternoon Sergio Aguilar and Alberto Álvarez accompanied him in the ring.
Alternative: Sebastián took the alternative the same year as his debut as a bullfighter. Specifically on August 12, 2000, with Enrique Ponce as godfather and José Tomas as a witness to the event.
